While this is geared for new school librarians, it is open to any librarian who is trying to get back into "school mode". 

We will have numerous specific sessions in the morning hosted by NCSLMA Board members and special guests. In the afternoon, we will have drop-in sessions where you can visit a room and ask the host specific or general questions about the topic.

Hello everyone! I am excited to introduce Page Turners, the NCSLMA Grown-Up Book Club!

This idea grew from Brew Crew (if you're not attending Brew Crews, you really should - we talk about a LOT of stuff). We brainstormed and thought this format could work best for our members.  

This a crowd-sourced book club. We will meet monthly on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:30am with a new book at each meeting. The book titles will be submitted and voted on by people who sign up. Majority rules. :-)

The meeting schedule will be as follows:

• August 17, 2024- The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab

• September 21, 2024- The Berry Pickers by Amanda Peters

• October 2024- TBA (at conference)

2024 Vendor Pricing Tiers

Vendor booth payment includes - Website, Social Media, in-conference recognition, and a profile in our Sched app, Inclusion in Vendor Scavenger Hunt. Choice of vendor booth location will be first paid, first chosen. Single booth sizes are 6' deep x10' wide and include a table and 2 chairs.

• Single booth is $1,000 (double booth - $1900, triple booth - $3500)
• September 1, 2024, is the last day to cancel your vendor booth with full refund.
  
• Tear-down is 3:00 Friday

A La Carte

Electrical, carpet, and other needs will be handled directly through Hollins. I will send you their information after registration.

$150 - Attendee e-mail list
Attendee lists will be made available via Google Sheets. Lists may not be sold, gifted, or shared with anyone beyond your company. You will have access to the membership list until October 1, 2024.

$40 - One ticket to Thursday or Friday Lunch (deadline to purchase is August 15)

Prizes/Donations for Conference

Any prize donations will also receive social media recognition and advertising during the conference. We are accepting prizes for the following:

• School Librarian of the Year

• General Door Prizes to be given throughout and after the conference

Sponsorship Levels 

Each sponsorship includes Attendee e-mail list, two (2) session passes, website and social media recognition, an ad in our monthly newsletter, and session sponsorship

• Carnivore - $2500 (One ad in each newsletter for fifteen months, three session sponsorships)

• Omnivore - $2000 (One ad in newsletter for nine months, two session sponsorships)

• Herbivore - $1500 (One ad in newsletter for six months, one session sponsorship)

Sponsorship Opportunities (independent of sponsorship levels)

Each opportunity includes website and social media recognition as well as advertising at the event/meal/snack and during the opening meeting

• Session Sponsor - $500 per session (includes up to five minutes of introduction at session and your logo on the session slide deck - You will get to choose the session(s) you sponsor - first paid, first chosen)

• Keynote Sponsor - $3500 (includes five minutes of introduction at keynote session and your logo and company name advertised with the keynote speaker on social media)

• Sched Sponsor - $1000 (includes your logo on the Sponsor page and at the bottom of each page)

• NCSLMA-Jama Food Sponsor - $5,000 (this is the former vendor reception and will be a DJed party with heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar in the dance club)

• NCSLMA-Jama Drink Sponsor - $3,000 (includes a custom-named drink)

• Friday AM Coffee and Hot Tea station - $1500

• Friday PM Snack and Drink Station - $3000

• Saturday AM Coffee and Hot Tea Station - $1500

Note: Registrations not paid by the end of the period in which you registered will be cancelled and you will have to re-register at the next rate.
You may cancel your registration by August 31 for a fee of $25. Any cancellations after that will not be refunded.
