2022 Middle school bob state winners

The Middle School Battle of the Books competition took place on Friday, May 6th, 2022, in our first-ever virtual State competition!  It was a great day where 9 teams across North Carolina - 1 from each region - competed for the title of State Champion. Also, this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Alan Gratz (author of numerous Battle of the Books titles over the years) as our moderator!  Please join me in congratulating Riverside Middle School from Region 1 on earning the title. They spent the year reading, practicing and working together to accomplish this goal, and wowed everyone by playing a perfect game! Congratulations!
